The term transsexual is reserved for a person who fully transitions to the other gender will eventually get genital surgery. Some use the term postop transsexual to refer to someone after the surgery, but it is more polite to simply call them a woman (or man if they are transitioning from female to male). Many persons born with transsexualism dislike the term transgender and do not want to be lumped with crossdressers and people who will never get genital surgery.

Now, the closest opposite here would be a transman. There really is no opposite to "shemale" since men with vaginae are not objectified the same way as women with penises. Shemale is mostly a pornographic term and highly offensive when used outside that context.
