How do you replace the back seat on a 1997 Chevy Cavalier?

I have a 98' Cavalier and you must pry and pop a clip off of the rod sticking out of the passenger side seat where the hinge bracket is. Once the clip is removed (be careful it is only plastic)the back oof the seat can be slid about 1/2 an inch over towards the passenger side, causing the rod on the opposite side of the seat to be released from it's hinge bracket. Then simply lift the back part of the seat on the drivers side about 1 inch ( with the seat folded forward all the way)and jiggle very slightly as you pull outwards, towards the drivers side. That should do it. Hope it's helpful to you! Answer I have a 98' Cavalier and you must pry and pop a clip off of the rod sticking out of the passenger side seat where the hinge bracket is. How to remove headrests on a 1995 thunderbird bucket seats?

First you need to unbolt the seat back from the seat bottom and remove the back from the car. There is a bolt through the hinge on each side of the seat where you unbolt the back. At the bottom of the seat back there is a long plastic hook and groove clip attached to the seat cover material. Pushing the two halves in opposite directions will unlatch this clip. Then begin rolling the seat cover inside out from the bottom and pull it all the way to the top of the seat. There are velcro strips on each side of the front of the seat back and two horizontal strips that you will peel the seat cover away from. Once the seat cover is clear of the seat back you can see the headrest assembly from the rear. There are two spring clips near the top of the plastic tubes. Remove each of the spring clips and then you can slide the headrest out of the assembly. The plastic tubes can be removed easily once the headrest is out.

How do you replace your seat belt on a 99 Ford Explorer?

'96 Explorer Seat Belt Replacementhttp://www.seatcoverset.com/seatcovers-car_seat_cover.htmIn order to replace the driver side seat belt on a '96 Explorer, you must completely remove the drivers seat. Removing driver side seat belt: Use a 10mm socket/wrench to remove the two bolts securing the front of the seat to the floor. Move the seat as close to the steering wheel as possible to expose the rear of the sliding seat rails. Pop off the two covers at the end of each rail to expose two more 10mm bolts securing the seat to the floor. Next, remove the plastic cover with a Torx symbol on it at the rear of the seat belt guide rail. Removing the aforementioned cover will allow access to a large Torx bolt just below the rear of the center console. Remove this large Torx bolt, unplug any electrical wires below the seat, and remove the entire seat from the Explorer. With the seat out, you can use the same Torx wrench to unscrew the seat belt itself from the seat. Reassembly is the opposite of disassembly.

How does a fold and tumble passenger seat come off in a 97 jeep wrangler?

Access the back seat from the tailgate. On the left there is a lever - lift it up, push the top of the seat forward. Be careful of the carpet and your fingers while doing this. Tip the entire seat forward. The next part isn't pretty, it just involves strength. Slide the entire seat to one side and the pin should slip out of the bracket. Lift the free side up and slide it the opposite way. Then it's brute force to get it out. Make sure you remember which holes the pins go back in.
