pH=6,4
The pH of tomato ketchup is 3.85
We can use a pH paper.
The optimum pH of lactase is pH = 6.5.
The higher the pH, the more basic, so a pH of 8 is more basic than a pH of 6.
Sodium Hydroxide relaxers have a pH of 10.5-14.
Hydroxide relaxers are not compatble with thio relaxers, permanent waving, or soft curl permanents because they use a different chemistry. Thio relaxers use thio to breake the disulfide bonds. The high pH of a thio relaxer is needed to swell the hair but it is the thio that breaks the disulfide bonds. Hydroxide relaxers have a pH that is so high that the alkalinity alone breaks the disulfide bonds. Which of their relaxers are you asking abt? You're best bet is to contact them at 770-981-8722 for more information. They've been very helpful to me!
If it was acidic your hair would dissolve and fry/sizzle etc.
It's talking about the pH of the shampoo itself. You shampoo's pH should be around 5-7, which is the pH of your skin (which is the middle of the pH scale). Acidic and Alkaline are the opposite ends of the pH scale, when it says Non alkaline shampoo, it means it's not high on the pH scale so it won't damage the cuticle at all. See relaxers are real high in Alkalinity
Yes. Relaxers straightens the hair if applied properly and in sections. Relaxers are to be applied to the new growth only.
You do not buy relaxers based on the colour of your hair.
No-lye relaxers does the same as the sodium hydroxide relaxer but no lye relaxers requires frequent conditioning and lye relaxers contain a oil base to protect the scalp from irritation.
It could take days for certain muscle relaxers to leave your system. Most muscle relaxers will leave your system within 24 hours.
muscle relaxers work best
20-30% Relaxers are damaging to the scalp and hair. Use a flat iron. More women use flat irons than relaxers anyway.
Not if you have a prescription for them.
