Who cares? I cannot stand how people always want to know if people are gay, or not. If people are lucky enough to find someone to love and/or care about them in this life, what does it matter what sex those people are? I do not care who a person sleeps with. That is between them and their 'partner'.
There is no 'best answer' facility on WikiAnswers - it's not like other forums such as Yahoo ! - where people are allowed to vote for a best answer. On WikiAnswers, people who find a contributor's answer interesting, humorous or informative can award a 'trust point' - but - there is no guarantee anyone answering the question is actually qualified to do so !
That doesn't mean you're sad. It just means your hobby is asking questions on WikiAnswers. Since WikiAnswers is technically your hobby, you aren't sad (not from an emotional point of view).
You're helping people. That's the whole point to WikiAnswers.com
The reason you would join is so you can answer and ask questions and get recognized, gain trust points, get feedback, and learn more about everything that interests you. You can also become a WIT and many other cool positions on the WikiAnswers team.
It's not that WikiAnswers contradicts itself, it's that WikiAnswers' users contradict each other. WikiAnswers is made up of individual contributors (users), and since everyone has their point of view and their way of knowledge and doing things around here, they tend to contradict each other. It's just two different people's ways of doing things, and sometimes they just happen to contradict each other.
You can ask and answer questions and share your knowledge with the WikiAnswers community! WikiAnswers is all about sharing knowledge with the rest of the world, so the more knowledge you share, the more people you are helping out and the more people will appreciate you (even if they don't know you).
WikiAnswers is made out of many people, and each has their own point on view on this issue. However, we try to stay as neutral and impartial as possible in the answers we give.
There is a point to using WikiAnswers because questions do get answered. I know it might not always seem that way, but questions do get answered by other users that care. Do you need proof? You have this question. It just got answered.yeah but when you send questions to yhe community they don't get answered!
Basically to ask and answer questions.
The new wikianswers design is cool and easier to use especially for n00bs. Now n00bs can search the wikianswers easier.
You can get trust points on WikiAnswers by making many helpful edits and doing your best to make WikiAnswers a great Q&A site. When people see an answer you posted on a question, they have the option to "Recommend" you. When they do this, you receive a trust point. To earn trust point you have to answer questions. If the asker thinks your answer is good they will give you a trust point. Not all askers give trust points though. Good luck and keep answering!
Although Trust Points are intended to be for outstanding answers, you can award a contributor a Trust Point for asking a good question, or any other community activity.
