The years after the fall of the Berlin Wall (1989) and breakup of the Soviet Union (1991).
Post war is after World War II; 1945. Post cold war is after the cold war; 1990 (even though the papers were signed in 1991).
Who would control post war Europe
It wasn't POST WW2 that contributed to the cold war. It was the nuclear weapon itself that caused the cold war. Without the atomic bomb, there would've been NO Cold War. Cold War means a stand-off between two enemies. If no super weapon exists (Atomic Weapons) then there's NO stand-off...they fight instead. Just like in the pre-atomic past.
No nation dropped an atomic weapon during the cold war. The cold war is not the same as World War 2. Two atomic bombs were dropped on Japan by the US at the end of World War 2. The cold war is called 'cold' because it was not an actual armed conflict. It was a period marked by a conflict of ideologies, propaganda and fear.
The period of dominance of the Jeffersonian Republicans was from 1800-1809. Hope this helps :D
Nukes created the cold war.
The cold war started in the mid 1940s
After the war came the cold war and the weapons race. The nuclear arsenals increased during that period.
