The original manual says .050. The important part to remember that when you order new plugs you will get AC Delco Iridium plugs. These are the new standard replacement. They come pre-gapped and you should not make any changes. These plugs should last 100,000 miles (160,000 kilometers) If you do try to re-gap an old set of plugs you may find that if they were working properly then they will fail soon afterwards. The coating on the plugs tips cannot be removed without causing premature failure. Hence re-gapping any plug of these new technology plugs will create failures.
