Make sure it is grounded to the body. Check the fuse and horn relay.
first check the horn relay, if that dosent work your horn switch is probably stuck try checking it!
The noise you hear is the horn relay clicking. The reason your horn does not work can be two things. Either you have a faulty horn, or you have a bad connection where the wire hooks to the horn.
Horn has constant 12vdc at horn terminal. Horn doesn't work. Checked steering wheel horn switch. Ohmed relay contact posistions/ok. Fuse is good also
The instructions are in the owners handbook, they are a little convoluted but if you follow them to the letter they work just fine
Yea, the 1993 Buick Lesabre does have a fuse for the horn. However, there could be other reasons why the horn doesn't work, the clockspring or relay could be out.
If the horn doesn't work qnd it is not the fuse then what could it be?
is horn and cruse on same fuse on a 1993 e250 ford van . thanks roger
They are difficult and sometimes impossible to repair. Go to a salvage yard and buy a used horn. Cheapest way!
a blown fuse.
You need to check the fuse in the fuse panel or the horn relay in the power distribution box under the hood
If not working, check the horn 15amp fuse. when the horn doesn't work, neither does the criuse control.
