The Indians were mostly upset with the Americans and decided to help the French out of retaliation. The French were nice to the Indians and treated them well and the natives in turn favored the French. The liked the French so they wanted to help them win so that they could be treated better and live peacefully under French "control" because they feared if Americans won that they would be treated terribly again.
1. The French and Indian War was mainly about the ownership of the Ohio River Valley. Both the British and the French wanted it. The reason it is called the French AND the Indian War was because some of the Indians allied with the French because the French had helped the Indians previously. 2. Who won? The British won. The Americans never fought the French. In WW2 they may have but not in the French and Indian they weren't in the french and Indian war.
The british and french had a large fight over the territory. The reason for this is because America had lots of land to farm cows and make chocolate milk. Therefore the Indians did not wanna give up the land, because chocolate milk is AWESOME!
The theme or main reason the French and Indian War was fought from 1754 to 1763 was an argument over control of waterways in New York. The Colonists fought against the French and Native American Indians.
The American colonists promised the Indian tribes land if they sided with them during the French and Indian War. After the war, the Colonists did not give back the land to the Indians that was originally theirs and that the colonists stole from them.

Multiple Indian tribes can be found one each side of the French and Indian War (also known as the seven years war). The Iriquois for instance supported the British almost exclusively. Most indians however assisted the French for a variety of reasons. Firstly, the French had more of a symbiotic relationship with the Indians. They trade with them frequently and had more of an amicable relationships while the English fought many wars against the Indians massacring indiscriminately (First and Second Pequot War for instance. Also the French were the first to arrive in the land that Indians controlled and they did not attack on site. Another reason was that English and Indians had strict borders whereas the French intermingled with the Indians much more and therefore were further ingrained into Indian Society. Hopes this helps and I am a History Masters Student.
One reason is because the french and Indian war put the british in debt, so they had to tax the colonists.
I believe it is because the French treated them better generally. The reason behind this was that the French had less white settlers than the British and could not afford to lose favour with the Indians, especially the Huron tribe. The French also had greater interation with the natives as they would trade furs and one of the major French goals in North America was to convert the Indians to Roman Catholicism, not massacre them like the Spanish
One of the reasons is that the British and French both claimed some of the same land. Reason two is that the British began to trade with the Indians on French territory.

The British wanted French territory (Ohio River Valley)
