I drive a Nissan and have driven Toyota s, Chevrolet s etc...I have found that synthetic 10w 40 works wonderfully as does straight 30W. The synthetic lasts longer and is better on the engine.

Is it for diesels?I work with diesel engines every day and I use only CD ( compression Diesel )rated oil, if it does not say CD it is made for gasoline engines and wont give you the high compression protection you need, and on top of that I use Lucas Oil Stabilizer in every oil change, that way the oil stays viscous all the way through to its next oil change and does not come out weaker than water.
