The recovery time following a lumpectomy (I am assuming that you are speaking of a lumpectomy because that is the medical term for "breast cyst removal") can vary because the type of lumpectomy varies.

The removal of a cancerous lump is more involved, and therefore the surgery is more involved, since the "margins" (edges surrounding the lump) have to be taken out, and with the benign lump, surgeons only need to remove the lump without worrying about margins.

It can sometimes be painful but not all are a cyst can grow in any place mine grew in my right breast gland its nothing to worry about. but i would recommend seeing a doctor because some have to be removed they can sometimes be dangerous but that is very rare and also if it is a large one you MIGHT have to have surgery to have it removed or they may give you tablets to help the cyst go. but some cyst come and go anyway,, but trust its nothing to worry about:)Xxxxx
