Web Page - A web page is just that, one page that you can go to on the internet. For example, this is my company's home page www.eventurebiz.com which is a web page.

Website - A website is the entire site in general. For example, one of my site's web page's is webhosting (www.eventurebiz.com/webhosting/index.html) but my whole site all together (home page, hosting page, my blog, my forum, the Relax Cafe, real estate Lounge, Neptune Lounge, etc.) are considered in whole the website.

Web Browsers - a web browser is a program you use to view websites on the Internet. They decode web programming languages so that you can view websites. Internet Explorer and FireFox are two popular web browsers.

A "web browser" is the software interface used to navigate the world wide web (www) or the internet. The most popular example of this is Microsoft's Explorer or Mac's Safari. The basic structure of a web browser allows the user to view a website, has an address bar, and standard navigating tools such as: back, forward, stop, and refresh. Web browsers are used to view, or navigate, web sites. Typically a web site can be defined by it's domain name, such as www.Google.com or www.wsj.com. There are other popular extensions other than ".com's" such as .edu and .org. When visiting a specified domain address you will usually have buttons or text links that help you navigate the website. These various links within the web site, or domain, are called web pages. A web site can have any number of web pages to which it is associate with from only 1 up to 100's or even 1000's. It is also possible for one web site to link to another. Using the domain examples above: If a user vists www.google.com and then performs a search for The Wall Street Journal, they would find search results for The Wall Street Journal's web site, or domain. In this example, clicking the link would redirect the users web browser from www.google.com to www.wsj.com.

A webpage on a website is a bit of content wrapped in layout code (right click, and view source to see the actual web page).

A webbrowser is able to interpret the programmer's code and per the instructions, display the content in a more human friendly version.

Ideally, a web page will appear similar regardless of the browser used. Due to different rates of development, features deemed important, and proprietary features of different browsers, this is not always the case.
