My understanding is that, in Missouri, a buyer may cancel an auto sale contract as long as she hasn't actually received the title document. After that, you have to show that the car did not conform to the terms of the contract, or that the seller misled you somehow. But you should see an attorney in your jurisdiction for specific advice.
