Mormons live mostly in Utah. Utah's primary political party is Republican, and it's also the most conservative place in America. Mormons tend to have larger families, and they contribute many famous musicians, dancers, and other artists to America. Utah is also home to 5 national parks, including Bryce Canyon, the Canyonlands and Zions. Mitt Romney was a Mormon candidate for u.s. president last election, and there's talk that Herbert, the former govenor of Utah, now ambassador to china, will run for president in 2012.

Why is the Gettysburg Address considered the most important speech in history?

While not the "most important speech in history" it is obviously important to US history and may have played some small role in the Union victory over the Confederacy. It raised the morale of the North, which prosecuted the Civil War to its conclusion, restoring the seceded Southern states and ending the toleration of slavery. This had great ramifications for international affairs, including four major wars fought in the following century, in which the "undivided" US played a pivotal role.

Who brought the first Mormons to the us?

Nobody. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) was founded in the US - so the first Mormons were already in the US! :) If you are speaking of the first Mormons to move from another country to the US, rather than the first Mormons ever in the US, the answer is still nobody. The first Mormons to move from another country to the US came from Canada, and were not 'brought' by any specific person, only encouraged to move so that they could be nearer to the main body of the church.
