As you know abusers are all about control and being right. They live in a plastic bubble that they control and you've literally been sucked into that plastic bubble with them. You can pile books sky high in front of this person, even get an appointment with a psychologist/psychiatrist and he will not attend! In his mind it's YOU that is At Fault and he's perfect. You're the one making the mistakes and the misfit in life ... not him! Of course we know different here. If you want to start with a new beginning it's time to pack your bags when he's not home and get to an Abused Women's Center and they will help keep you safe and help you with a new lease on life. You can rarely change an abuser and even if they should slightly change you'll always be living with a time bomb. These abusers could go off at any given time. I wish you all the best in 2006 This could be the beginning of the rest of your life Marcy
