Alcoholic spirit refers to distilled beverages with high alcohol content, such as vodka, rum, whiskey, and gin. These spirits are typically produced through a process of distillation from fermented grains, fruits, or other ingredients.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everclear_(alcohol) Everclear- 190 proof Actually there is an alcohol that is more potent then Everclear, it is a Polish Vodka called Polmos Spirytus Rektyfikowany (Rectified Spirit) It is 192 Proof 96% alcohol. The strength of wine and tequila is typically measured by their alcohol content, which is expressed as a percentage of alcohol by volume (ABV). In general, tequila has a higher alcohol content than wine. Wine: The alcohol content of wine can vary, but it typically ranges from 9% to 16% ABV. Some dessert wines or fortified wines may have higher alcohol content, but they are still generally lower than most spirits. Tequila: Tequila is a distilled spirit, and its alcohol content is usually higher than that of wine. Most tequilas have an alcohol content ranging from 38% to 50% ABV. However, some may be even higher. So, in terms of alcohol strength, tequila is generally stronger than wine. It's important to consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and be aware of their alcohol content.
You can separate alcohol and water content as alcohol boils at 78 degrees C, and water at 100. The alcohol distilled off is far purer than is in say the 40% original spirit.
