Right above the starter .
The crankshaft position sensor is located right above the starter, you may have to remove the starter for better visibility.
It's easy its just above the starter remove the starter with 1/2" socket your crank sensor is right there one 10mm socket
setting in the seat, It will be on the right side of the engine.
It is right behind the starter and bolted into the side of the engine block. You will have to remove the starter to service it.
It is mounted in the passenger side of the engine block right behind the starter. You will have to remove the starter to get to it.

You can find the starter on the right hand side of the motor. The starter will be near the back of the motor. You can follow the positive battery cable to the starter.
You need to disconnect your battery cables. On the right side under your motor is your starter you will have a - and a + wire disconnect them then take off two bolts and your starter will come right off. Then assemble the way you took it off.
I just replaced the starter motor on my 1990 4 cylinder engine Chevy Lumina. The starter is located in front of the oil pan. It was reachable and can be seen from under the front of the car a little to the right. You have to remove a three bolt attached plastic part by the oil pan to be able to get to one of the starter motor bolts. Good luck.

on the fender passenger side. If I remember right. disconnect batt. first, good luck. Your car has a starter solenoid rather than a relay. It is located piggy-back on the starter. It should be right on top of the starter motor, attatched.
It is located right above the starter for a 5.7l V8, not sure for the 4.3 or 5.0, probably the same place
take the right back motor mount off then jack up the exgshast then the starter should come right out with a little moving around

The crankshaft sensor is right next to the starter on a 2002 Escalade. You will have to loosen up the starter to get to it.
You will fine it right on side of the starter on the front side of the motor

most small blick chevys have the oil sensor on the back of the motor behind the intake just right of the distributor
It should be on the right side of the motor by the oil pan looking at it from the bottom held in by two bolts

On a typical 4-cylinder 626, the starter motor is located on the lower end of the engine, to the right of the transaxle (removal would require raising the vehicle and properly securing it with appropriate jack stands). On a typical v6 626, the starter motor is located beneath the throttle position sensor, knock sensor, distributor, and other electrical connectors that interfere with the proper removal. acc083
