The signifance of knowing where Moses is buried is important as The Bible says nobody knows to this day where he is buried.

God revealed to Moses , and said I am Who I am.
Moses was buried in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor. This area of Moab is on the Southeastern side of the 'Salt Sea'. It is written in Deuteronomy, "So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And he buried him (Moses) in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day." (Deu. 34:5 & 6)
Since the only evidence we have for Moses is in the Bible and the Bible explicitly claims the Moses was buried, there is no genuine source to counter this and say that Moses was incinerated.

God buried Moses in a secret place:Deuteronomy 34:5-6 (KJV)5So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. 6And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
Moses got water for the sheep of Jethro, as his daughters were looking after them. He then married one of Jethro daughters.

It does not appear as written. There is Deuteronomy 34:6 speaking of no one knowing where Moses was buried and this:Job 38:26New King James Version (NKJV)26 To cause it to rain on a land where there is no one,A wilderness in which there is no man;
