The signifance of knowing where Moses is buried is important as the bible says nobody knows to this day where he is buried.
Mount Nebo (Deuteronomy ch.34).
Moses was buried in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor. This area of Moab is on the Southeastern side of the 'Salt Sea'. It is written in Deuteronomy, "So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And he buried him (Moses) in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day." (Deu. 34:5 & 6)
Since the only evidence we have for Moses is in the Bible and the Bible explicitly claims the Moses was buried, there is no genuine source to counter this and say that Moses was incinerated.
Deuteronomy ch.34.
According to Jewish tradition, the location of Moses' burial site is not known. The Torah describes Moses climbing Mount Nebo before passing away, but the exact location of his burial remains a mystery.
