Since there are currently over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.

I recently changed my rear wiper, for the first time, on my 2003 Outlander. After first trying Autozone, I found out that although you can buy front wipers made by other manufacturers -such as Bosch or RainX - the rear wiper can only be bought from Mitsubishi . You have to order it from a dealer.

You have to go to a Mitsubishi dealership and purchase a wiper blade replacement. Unfortunately the wiper arm is not replaceable (it is replaceable in the newer 07+ models). It costs about 8 dollars (Canadian). The wiper blade just slides out of the arm/claws. Just slip it right out and you can slide in a new one.
The install is a snap...finding the special blade is a little harder. Once you have the special rear blade, there's instructions on the packaging. Also, check out the Roc Lock 2 / xx-A video below.
