that whole question does not make sence, closest answer is the solenoid on the starter.
i need the bracket that the ignition cylinder slides into.... the piece that mounts to the stering column
simply strap a piece of dynamite to the bottom and run like hell
First remove your ignition lock by inserting your key and turning to the ON position (do not start it). directly below the ignition cylinder there is a hole, using a Phillips screwdriver, ice pick etc insert it into the hole and push directly up. once you've disengaged the pin locking the cylinder in just pull it out. Once its out there is a plastic piece on the top of the keyway sandwitched between two pieces of metal, simply remove the top piece of metal and re install.
there is a pin in the backside of the lock cylinder push it in and pry slightly on the bottom of the cylinder and pull it out , it will come out a little stiff because there is a piece of rubber on the side.
No. The coil is the piece at the other end of the wire that comes out of the center of the distributor cap.
Well I'm not sure about all models but in my 72 XR7 with a standard column I had to pull the steering wheel then if you look you can see where the ignition lock cylinder comes through the column. If you follow the cylinder to the end and look twards the bottom of the housing you will see a small hole. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the run position. Push a paper clip or as I used a piece of coat hanger and pull the cylinder straight out.
possibly the ignition switch electrical part , but you will want to pull the key cylinder and make sure the little piece on the back of the cylinder is not cracked off nomal indicated by a key that seems to turn to far
I just did this this am. Easy. Mine was making a clicking noise and no air was flowing in back. The rear a/c actuator (for top/bottom air flow) in back is behind the 2nd row of seats in the large panel on the passenger side. You will see a cup holder and a long semi-rectangular piece of plastic with ribs on it. Push in below the cup holder and you will see a gap. Put a piece of plastic or wood to pop out the cup holder. Push in around the rectangular piece on top by the window and remove that piece as well. You will the actuator in white plastic right there. Remove the 4 screws with an 8mm socket and unplug the connector. You will pull up on the actuator to get it out as there is 1.5" post that sticks in a hole to enable it to open the air doors. Go buy a new one and replace.
it depend where you go to get it done, where you live, and if the key has a micro chip in it or not. when you look at your key right below the base if there is a little black piece of plastic then there is no way to get the key copied (the piece of plastic is a micro chip)
It is easy . Go to auto parts store buy the ignition switch since directions are in the box. You will need one piece that you can make to hold the springs in place while removing it and replace it . Allow 4 hours for a beginner.
You can get them at the dealer. The entire window and door mechanisim is all one piece.
A cylinder looks like a piece of pipe. A sphere looks like a ball.
