Depending on the year of the car, and (for later models at least) whether it is 8 or 16 valve, the gap is either 30-thou (0.7mm) or 40-thou (0.8mm) If your car has 2 or 4-electrode spark plugs, it is usual for these to be replaced if the gap is excessively large.

The gap is preset at the factory but is always a good idea to doublecheck to make sure it is correct.
a loos 35 thow or 0.9mm should have you runing prity good. your dwell or point gap is more important. try 14 thow loos with feeler gage.

there is a spark plug for every cylinder so there are four spark plugs 14 or 16 gauges
Cover the cutting end of the 14 mm tap with grease, insert the tap into the spark plug hole, apply high temp (red) silicon sealant to the outer threads of the insert and install the spark plug and torque it.
14-38 is the best sprocket combination, using an iridium spark plug or any upgrade of spark plug. it will surely deliver power and speed. and you don't need to open your engine for more upgrades.
