the stock gap is 0.60 which is the same as the LS1 v8 gap.
you dont have a ls1 you have a lt1. the ls1 was in 98-02 camaro
because its a ls1
You have got to be fukking kidding... v6 3800 or the v8 Ls1
NO! ls1's did not go into the z28s until 1998
I know the 1998 to 2002 camaro z28, ss have same ls1 engine as the corvette ls1. Only differets is horsepower. A pc program can change the horsepower to both camaro and corvette
A 97 Camaro came with an LT1 not LS1. Its fuel pump relay would be behind the kick panel on the driver side below the dash.
yes you can but if you can put an ls1 why not put an LS2? get close to 500 horse power... if you can afford it
The price of the tune up for the 1999 Camaro LS varies with the location. On average, a tune up is about 180 dollars to about 300 dollars depending on the parts required.
LS1 5.7 v-8
A stock 5.7 liter LS1 engine in the 2000 Camaro Z28 makes 285 Rwhp. That equates to about 325 Hp at the flywheel. Camaro LS1 engines were underrated from the factory at 305 Hp at the flywheel.
on the LT1 model, it is the large gold piece with the electrical connector plugged into it near the oil filter. screwed right into the pan. I would think it might be the same on the LS1.
if its an ls1 motor its on the right side of the throttle body
Well depends on how much work you want to do. The engine will fit but the mounting locations are different because 98 was the first year of the LS1 in the Camaro. You are better off with an LS1 it is a much better engine anyways! Well depends on how much work you want to do. ls1 camaro or transam
5 quarts to include the filter.
Not electronic. But mechanical yes. NOTE: a 1996 camaro has the LT1. A 1998 Camaro has the LS1. A lot of things are different.
If you mean the LS1 equipped Z28 and a LS1 equipped SS...: The LS1 SS cars(98-02) had a different hood, spoiler and a few upgrades from SLP like shocks/struts, exhaust a few other little things. The biggest difference is the hood and spoiler
305 at the crank for camaro and trans am and 345 for the corvette
