diesel engines do not have spark plugs. they fire on compression. so there is no gap.
i have no idea!!! sorry to whoever posted this, but im looking 4 the answer too! A Dodge diesel doesn't use spark plugs. Diesel engines fire on compression. wow i cant believe there is two of you out there.... heres your signs.
there are none...
.035 inch
0.060
points .020 spark plugs .035. and Dodge did not have a v6 then only a slant 6
.050 inch
.40
spark pluggs
Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches.
The main reason of not using the spark plugs in diesel engines is because of the diesel having a low ignition temperature. At the end of the compression stroke the pressure and temperature values achieved are sufficient to ignite the diesel which is sprayed into the hot air in the combustion chamber.
Spark plug gap is .035
