The horoscope is a form of superstition which is prohibited for Catholics to take seriously. In the Old Testament such activities were punished by death in the Jewish religion. For a Catholic to casually read a horoscope would not be a serious sin but when a person takes it seriously and lets the readings from a horoscope rule his life, that person puts his soul in danger of eternal damnation. We should let Jesus and the scriptures rule our lives and not the 'stars.'
