What is the stock hp of your 5.3L 2003 Chevy Silverado and what are some ways you would recommend to increase horsepower?

My self i am currently trying to find the stock horsepower (as i may be purchasing one), leading me here.

(I would recommend)To get more, you can do a cold air intake and a chip. You can also do the exhaust system(complete) but you could be looking at $1000+. Those 3 can also get you better fuel millage.

(Still want power?) After that, there is not really much more for easy power. You could do the whole ignition system to help get the best "bang" for every drop of fuel. (high quality plugs and wires, high output coil, probably MSD)

(Still want more?)From there you will probably be getting inside the engine, and spending more amounts of money.
