Because of it being eve who had ate the fruit, and her being a woman, this is why women need to go through pregnancy and periods, all because of eve's betrayal.

Nevertheless, great congruency exists between the Biblical Old Testament records of history and those of many of the various religions that have come down to us over the many generations.
