**Could you please expand on that answer? What is the difference between the regular and power tranny switch? What will happen if it is switched from its current position? The neutral switch is located in the console conected to the shifter. You can unplug it and put a jumper wire to test if this is your problem.
Do you mean parking brake switch? You have to sit on a stool, look under the dash under steering wheel. You will need a flashlight.

The most likely cause is a failing shift lock switch in the center console. This switch prevents the gear shift lever from moving until the brake pedal is depressed.
