Not sure if the 95 is the same as the 93. On my '93 there is a timing advance wire you have to unplug (brown wire near the distributor on the firewall with a plug connector.) Start it up with the wire unplugged and set timing to 0 degrees BTDC. Turn off engine. Plug wire back in and computer takes over. There should be a sticker on the radiator shroud that gives timing and spark gap settings. From Haynes manual:
On later models, the connector is located near the distributor (except for 1995 models; on these, it's located under the dash, below the glove box). Tan wire with a black stripe.
Knowing the year would really help. But 90% of the 350 TBI engine timing was 0 TDC.
1987 - 1995
The spark plug gap for a 1995 Chevrolet Van 350 TBI is .035 inches. This is equal to between .8 and .9 mm.
Adjust your timing
There is no difference,,,
750 RPM
A 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe has a 5.7L 350 TBI V8 for a engine, not a vortec.
How do you set the timing for an 1989 Chevrolet G20 van - 350 cu. in. with tbi?
Zero TDC. / Top Dead Center
all Chevy tbi's are to be set at 0 degrees
It is fuel injected, TBI / Throttle body injection.
YES
