It dosen't have timing marks. It also dosen't have any keyways on the gears. The engine is timed by using special tools that align and hold the cams in place, while you installl the belt and tighten the cam sprocket bolts down on the cams. The crank is aligned using a special tool that is inserted into a hole in the block, after a special plug is removed down low on the block.

Your 85 should have vacuum advance on your distributer, be sure to unplug the vacuum line and cap it off while stetting your timing. Trust me when I say, use only your timing marks, playing with your timing on rotaries causes all sorts of problems
