It can be anywhere from 4 - 13 degrees.. depending on what type of cam you got and ect.. For a stock 350.. Timing is commonly around 12 - 13 degrees.

Knowing the year would really help. But 90% of the 350 TBI engine timing was 0 TDC.

The timing on that engine is computer controlled. It requires an engine scanner to set the timing. No other way.

this question can not be answered with out knowing what engine the f-350 has. and what year.

You can not use a timing light to set the timing on that year engine. The timing is computer controlled and it requires a engine scanner to set the timing.

It requires an engine scanner to set the timing on that year engine.

The Chevy 350 does not have a timing belt, It has a timing chain. If you are wanting to know where to set the timing, then I need to know the year of the engine. Thay are all different.

YES. That engine used a timing chain and 2 gears in behind a cover bolted to the front of the engine.

As I understand it, a freewheeling engine, such as the 2.3 liter Ford is an overhead cam engine that will not crash the valves if the timing belt breaks. A 350 Chevy uses a timing chain since the cam is in the block. If the timing chain breaks on that, you're out of luck.

The timing on that year engine is computer controlled and you must have an engine scanner to set the timing. That engine has a cam and crank sensor and they must be in correlation / TIME with each other. Are you will have a check engine light on and poor performance.

right behind the top sprocket of the timing chain

The total timing advance on a 1995 Chevrolet 350 engine should be around 35 degrees. This takes into account the advance provided by the ignition system.

The timing is electronic controlled. You MUST have an OBDII engine scanner to set the timing to specs. Timing light will not work.

If this is a stock engine try anywhere from 4 to 8 degrees advanced.

all the timing covers for the 350 are the same up until 1992 when they came out with the LS-1 engine.

That requires an OBDII engine scanner because the timing is computer controlled. A timing light will not work on that year.
