4-speeds top out quick in 4cyclinders(maybe 105mph), 5-speeds in 4 cylinders aren't much better(110-115mph)6 cylinders are whole different breed my only exp. is with a 3-speed automatic (the only way to bury the needle ALL the way back to 0). O and less I forget you die in those cars in a 30mph accident.
112 mph (180 km/h) per Pontiac.
I've done 120 in an '88 formula. The headlights pop up at about that speed, which is terrifying in a car that small.
Best top speed for a stock V-6 Fiero: 135 mph Worst: 115 mph Both Fieros were '85 GT's, the latter with an automatic transmission.
i think you have to open the cap on top of the engine block and drop the thermstat in there.
96.5
Fiero does not use a speedo cable There is an electronic sensor mounted on top of the transmission that both the engine computer and the speedo in the dash read to get the speed.

Yes it will fit. All Fiero windshields are the same size. They only vary in the amount of tinting or top shading.
I clocked my 1987 250x at 62mph using a friend's car following.
You will see it screwed right in there in the top of the tranny with 2 wires coming off. It's a pretty large sensor so it's fairly obvious. Just run into any AdvanceAuto Parts store and check out the Haynes manual for a Fiero. It's in there. You should a manual already if you own a Fiero or you should get one! ;-)
The adjustments are pretty obvious on the the top of the transmission under the air intake and exhaust plumbing.

Around 110-115 MPH
