It depends on the engine in it. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 110-115 MPH.
My 1994 Trans Am does, it will go up to 110. I found out that the top speed of a 1994 Firebird or Trans Am is 156 mph.
On my 1991 Firebird 305 TBI the computer shuts down acceleration after 110 mph. I would assume it is probably the same for a 1994.
The top speed is controlled by a limiter and is probably between 112 and 117 mph.

Take the top radiator hose loose from the top of the engine. The thermostat is under there. just pry it off with a screwdriver.
You can replace the ignition lock cylinder in your 1994 Pontiac Firebird without removing the steering will. Remove the retaining ring at the top of the ignition cylinder. The ignition cylinder will slide out.
Follow the top radiator hose, to where it intersects with the motor. This would be the thermostat housing. Remove this, and the thermostat will be exposed.
The 1998 Pontiac 2.2 5 speed has a top end of 110 mph.
The top speed of the 1997-2003 Grand Prix GTP is 126mph (limited). If the speed limiter is disabled, the top speed will be increased to over 140mph.
