If you have a 361 the 383 heads will work, but they won't work on a 318.

All depends on the shape it's in, that's a very desirable car and was worth a lot more a couple of years ago, if it's in decent shape and numbers matching it's probably worth from 25 to 35 grand.

the new one has 425 and the old super bee could be had with a 383 with 335 horse or the 440 with 375 or the hemi with 425 under rated horse.
On the 383 Dodge , # 1 on the distributor cap faces to the front and slightly towards the passenger side
a 318 and 383 look totally different, I believe the 318 has the distribuetor in the back of the engine and the 383 has the distribuetor in the front on the passenger side. The 383, however, wasn't available in 1973.
It was probably around 78-79, as the show came out in 1979. It was a 1969 Dodge Charger, but they did use some '68s that they changed the tail lights and front end to make them look like a '69.
