value marlin glenfield model 60 22 simi auto rifle
A Marlin Glenfield Model 60 .22 caliber semi auto rifle with a squirrel engraved in the stock and a serial number 20160178 is worth between $100 and $300. The actual value varies greatly based on its overall condition.
Around $75.
Glenfield rifles were usually the hardwood stocked lower-priced Marlin rifles sold at Sears, Western Auto, K-Mart, etc... in the 50's and 60's. Value of your specific rifle all depends upon what year, condition, accessories, etc... For more information on the rifle see... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marlin_Model_60
Marlin made a Golden 39A .22 lever rifle from 1954 to 1963 (serial prefix L through W). The Marlin model 50 was a semi-auto 12 ga. shotgun. If you have a .22 rifle marked "Golden 50," it isn't a Marlin. I have a Golden 50 Glenfield Mod. 65 from the Marlin Firearms company built in 1970.
$75-$150, depending on condition. That is if your rifle is a semi-auto. It would be a Marlin 49. However, Western Auto also had a 150M, which is a Marlin 39A- Value $300-$450
With no serial number provided,I cannot determine the age of your Glenfield model 60 semi-auto .22cal rifle. The value of these rimfire rifles is between 60-110 dollars.
The Marlin model 50 semi-auto 22cal.promotional rifle, which was made from 1931-1935,ranges in price from 85-150 dollars today.
To see the Used Value (Blue Book Value) of your gun you can go to www.UsedPrice.com All Glenfield firearms are really Marlins, so look for a manual for a Marlin 75. Value will not be much, I'd guess $100-$150 retail. Blue Book cross-references to Marlin 989M1, but the M1 isn't in the listings, but the basic 989 production started in 1962 and 989M2 in 1966, so it's in that range. Of about 25 .22 Marlins listed, only 4 have a price range other than $65-$135, and they're not far off. I had a model 75 marlin glenfield I bought at Sears in the early 70's. It is a 10 shot semi auto similar to the model 60 but does not hold as many rounds. I paid around $70 for rifle and 4x scope. I live in a saltwater environment and this was a very dependeble and suprisingly accurate rifle for the price. It is LR shells only.
About 75
The Revelation model 120, .22 RF RIFLE was manufactured for Western Auto Supply by Marlin, its a generic model 60. Worth about $75-$125 dependent on condition. These guns generally have no collector value.
The Glenfield model 75C is a carbine variant of the Marlin model 60 produced for 1975 to 1992 by th m Mrlin Firearms Company under the name of Glenfield. Differences include shorter 18 inch barrel compared to the Marlin's 20. Length of pull on the Glenfield is shorter. The Glenfield also has a shorter and lower capacity magazine tube. The Glenfield hold 9 shots in the magazine, while current Marlins hold 15. Nearly all parts are interchangeable, and the Glenfield can be converted to modern full sized Marlin 60 specifications if desired.
