You probably have a filled-die error. The image inside the memorial is small and that part of the die can fill with grease or other crud, so the image is blurred or obliterated. Given the number of cents struck each year, filled-die errors are pretty common so you might not get more that 25 or 50 cents for your error.

The Lincoln Memorial reverse was introduced in 1959. If you have a 1958 cent with the Memorial reverse it should be inspected by an expert. Most likely it's a fake, possibly made by splitting a 1958 cent in half and fusing a Memorial reverse on it.
