Most "famous edition" newspapers from historic days are REPRINTS, issued for the collector's demand. They are worth only what the price to purchase it was sent at... or what you can command on ebay...
The Honolulu Advertiser had their press break down the week prior to December 7. They actually used the presses at the Honolulu Star on December 8. Unfortunately the Advertiser got wrong information and printed the headlines "Saboteurs Land Here". They were reprimanded for that headline.

The Honolulu Star-Bulletin from December 7th is valuable, maybe up to as much as several hundred dollars. The 8th, not so much; it's going to be more of an "atmosphere" paper with a value likely in the tens, rather than hundreds, of dollars; possibly even less.

$900 million according the the following:
in excellent - Near/Mint condition the articles could sell for a few dollars. A full paper would be of the highest value, the cover headline would be next, and an article would be the lowest. The more complete the newspaper the more valuable. Because of the low quality paper used newspapers do not sell at high price. Browning, rips, and creases will lower the price significantly. I have a Framed 1927 World Series Newspaper headline. Every time I handle the paper (to frame it) I would lose little flakes of paper off the edges. The Newspaper clipping you have (with a picture) if it is well preserved, and displays well could sell for more. The significance of the article, and the size of the clipping will be a factor as well.
The r-value of a sheet of newspaper is typically around 0.04 per inch thickness. This means that newspaper provides minimal insulation value compared to other building materials.

The value of a newspaper article from April 11, 1956 featuring Elvis Presley would depend on factors such as condition, rarity, and demand. It could range from $20 to over $100 or more, especially if it is in excellent condition and contains significant or unique information about Elvis at that time. It would be best to consult with a vintage newspaper or Elvis memorabilia expert for a more precise valuation.

The newspaper featuring the Atlanta Braves From Worst to First headline has a sentimental value to the fans of the team. The 1991 edition of the newspaper can be found for sale, as of July 2013, for $10. Other people may have copies for sale for more, or have a higher or lower value, based on condition.
The value of gold can change from day to day. You can look in the financial section of your local newspaper or the newspaper on line to find out the value for the day. There are websites that will give you the current value of gold or you could call a local jewelry store and ask for the current prices.
