Well since it is a GM vehicle and the name for all GM authorized is Mr. GoodWRENCH it might mean that you need something there ie. alignment, tire rotation, oil change, some type of regular maintenance

The tensioner rotates or swivels on it's mount to put some slack in the belt. You can usually get a wrench or a shallow socket on the nut that holds the pulley and rotate it whichever direction it needs. FriPilot

The engine warning wrench icon is a reference to a problem with the engine. The engine should be checked by a certified mechanic.
Not 100% sure but it sounds like it's a check engine or service soon warning light.
