1. There is no such thing as a "Morgan Peace" dollar. Morgan dollars were minted from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921. Peace dollars carry the word PEACE on the back and were made from 1921 to 1935.
2. TRVST is not a misspelling. In the early part of the 20th century it was common for artists to use the Roman alphabet in works featuring classical themes. The Roman alphabet had only 24 letters; V was both a vowel and a consonant.

Please check around. You'll find this question posted hundreds of times. "TRVST" is not a misspelling. In the 1920s it was common for artists to use the Latin alphabet for classically-themed designs. Latin only had 24 letters. V served as both a consonant and a vowel, a bit like the letter Y does in English. The letter U wasn't created until the Middle Ages. All Peace dollars have the same usage.
That's the way the coins were designed. Several US coins have a TRVST because the designer wanted a 'classical' look and there is no "U" in the Latin alphabet.

First it's not a Morgan Peace dollar, their two different coins the last Morgan was struck in 1921. With the date of 1923 it's a Peace dollar and is valued at $14.00. Second, trust is not misspelled all Peace dollars are spelled like this, Latin has no letter U
Please look at the coin again, the date of 1888 is a Morgan dollar and can not have trust spelled with a "V" that's only on Peace dollars which were first struck in 1921. And the motto is IN GOD WE TRUST not YOU!!. Please post new question with accurate information.
I have a 1924 silver dollar and, yes, it does have trust spelled with a "v".
There is no 1921 barber silver dollar, it is either a peace dollar (eagle perched on a rock engraved PEACE on the reverse) or a Morgan dollar (Eagle with gothic lettering above it saying "In God we Trust" on the reverse)
The spelling "TRVST" is just part of the design and is on all Peace Dollars.
AnswerAll Peace dollars, which include all 1923 silver dollars and all 1921 Peace dollars*, use the Latin spelling of TRUST, which is TRVST. (Latin had no "v" character, but their "u" looked like our "v." That's why a "w" is called a "double-u" instead of a "double-v.") The Morgan dollar design didn't use this spelling, so 1921 Morgan dollars render the word "TRUST."Note that most 1921 dollars were struck using the Morgan design. These do not have the word PEACE on the back and depict the eagle with its wings open, so they're very easy to tell apart from the Peace design.
8-24-11>> The coin is NOT an Liberty silver dollar, it's a PEACE dollar (1921-1935) and all them have TRVST spelled like this. It's just part of the design.
It's not an error, all PEACE dollars have the word "TRUST" spelled with a V because their is no U in the Latin alphabet.
Please check your coin again. The motto is In God WE Trust, and on a 1900 Morgan dollar the word is spelled using the English alphabet so it appears as TRUST rather than TRVST. The latter spelling was used on Peace dollars issued from 1921 to 1935. And to further clear things up, coins are said to be minted or struck. "Print" refers to paper and ink, like dollar bills.

It's supposed to be like that.
It's the word TRUST spelled with a 'V' because the Latin alphabet does not have a 'U' in it. All Peace dollars have this spelling and so do Standing Liberty Quarters.
