On my 89 areostar the connection "block" on the steering column under the ignition came loose (pushing and pulling on the steering wheel can do it...only rotate!), I was able to stabalize the connections with some cable straps.....(also the digital pannel was barely illuminated til I had a sidwall blowout and it was jarred back to full life)...
the switch is located behind the kick panel on the passenger side
I believe the switch you are looking for is on the right side of the passenger foot well behind the trim panel. It is not easy to access without removing this panel.

the senor is located below the brakes master cylinder on the front fender panel.

On a 1996 Ford Aerostar, the fuel pump inertia switch is located in the right front passenger area. It is below the dash panel, in front of the door, behind the trim panel (according to the owner's manual.)
The Flasher Relay is located: Front seating area, driver side, behind dash, driver side of steering column, mounted above fuse panel.
because a cheat panel doesnt exist, you have the control panel. tgm = toggle god mode just to get you started. type help for a short list of controls
There are no restrictions other than working clearance's and dedicated space for panel.
take the door panel off & power up the motor directly with jumper wires. if this won't work the motor is probably not working & will need to be replaced.
