There is nothing wrong with being a loner, if that is your choice. However, many times, others won't let you be a loner. They may assume your way of doing things is the wrong way and they try to force help on you. They may assume you are lonely and need a sex partner, or they may assume that since you are alone, they can just move in with you and take over your place.
