Defective heater blower motor resistor pack.
Your question is vague at best.I assume you're alluding to automatic climate control or some form of thermostatically controlled a/c unit. If so, the answer is yes BUT, a/c should only come on if it's overridden from the automatic setting to the 'on' setting -- otherwise you have a broker regulator, thermostat or a malfunction in your unit.Best of luck!
This may be a cause... My wife's 95 contour had to have the vacuum temp settings control unit replace 2 times. If you are constantly changing settings it really blows the valves in the climate control center... Just a thought.
You can try this: press the AUTO button, the current settings should be displayed, note that the system will default to MANUAL if the driver temperature settings are at the extreme, example 60 degrees F or 90 degrees F. Set the temperature you want by rotating the driver knob. The set temperature will be for driver and passenger and will be remembered each time you turn the ignition off and restart in the same settings. To start out on the passenger side, set the passenger knob in the 12 o'clock position so it will be the same temperature as the drivers side setting, you can adjust from there later. The AUTO settings will affect the fan speed and the air delivery mode. Keep in mind if you have the optional MEMORY setting, located on the drivers door, it will recall the settings for the climate control in the memory setting which is activated when you use the key fob set for it.

B. Settings are determined by the actors in the play. The setting of a play is typically determined by the playwright and is described in the script. Actors bring the setting to life through their performances, but they do not usually have control over defining the setting itself.
