Try talk to someone you're comfortable with. Talk to their friends, because if a close person you trust has friends, so their friends would be trustful. :)

I try to be more talkative with people. For me, i started with online friends to get over my shyness and it really did help. I cannot express how much online friends are so helpful.
To not be shy at school and look more confident you must have self belief. There aren't any physical exercises except taking deep breaths when you feel nervous to help with the shyness. However, you can tell yourself over and over again that you are a good person, a nice person who is worthy of friendship. Tell yourself that you will not let shyness or anything else stand in your way of making friends.
