∙ 16y agoJapanese soldiers and American Marines Where there are US Marines there will also be US Navy (Corpsmen). How did they get ashore? The US Coast Guard had the people who knew how to handle those small boats. US Army Air Corps also did some long range bombing pre-invasion.
