∙ 14y agoA neurosurgeon treats the nerves of the body, the brain, spine, and organic diseases. They direct the duties and responsibilities of anyone under them. Ex: Intern, resident, and nurse. They perform surgeries on the brain, spine and any nerves. They analyze test results and decide what treatment is best for that patient. An example of a surgery they do are Burr Holes. Very minor surgery. Burr holes are used to remove pressure that is on the brain. The surgeries they do are called Craniotomies.
