There were butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers. There were tinkers, and sailors, armorers, potters, millers, priests. There were game keepers, and knights, monks, nuns, and jugglers. But there were lots and lots of farmers and farmer's wives.
The higher working class jobs were merchants and priests, and anything that required that people read.
I recommend reading a book called Magdalena and Balthazar for a more in depth look at life in the 1500s, although not technically the middle ages, it's an accurate description of life at the beginning of the enlightement. There is a link below.

They had many responsibilities in the Middle ages, they had to do farming and look after all the animals, they also had to work in the bakeries, fix roofs and build houses for the rich. They would also look after their families and pray to God.

No, glitter as we know it today did not exist in the Middle Ages. The production of glitter requires modern manufacturing techniques and materials, which were not available during that time.
No new opportunities for serfs in the Middle Ages except where the plague left a need for people to fill the jobs left empty. Some men also were able to get freeman status and became mercenaries for the various armies fighting each other. The priesthood also provided a way to a better life.
The third period of the Middle Ages was the Late Middle Ages. The first is called the Early Middle Ages or the Dark Age. The second period was the High Middle Ages.
