Certain districts may be eligible for both public and private funding derived from such sources as:

  • urban renewal funds and grants
  • historic district grants for home repairs, improvement and facade repairs
  • grants and low interest loans to upgrade facades, upgrade landscaping and/or plant trees in older commercial districts
  • grants and low interest loans for home improvement, installation of energy saving features and insulation
  • community center funding and grants
  • grants to create or upgrade public green spaces for passive recreation
