Many girls I've interviewed about their cramps have said hot tea helps. Mostly some type of herbal teas like chamomile or peppermint, but any type of tea can help to soothe your cramps.
βI donβt want to drink water during a workout because I donβt want to crampβ. We hear that often. Itβs a myth. The amount of water youβd have to drink to become over hydrated is almost impossible. Not being hydrated can lead to cramping as body heat leads to increased heart rate and less blood and electrolytes getting to the muscle cells. The key is to get electrolytes ,particularly potassium , to the muscle cells. Being dehydrated and low on potassium both can lead to cramping.
water does indeed cure cramps. if you drink a lot of water, you will have enough fluid in your body to not have cramps.
You should drink at least 16 to 32 ounces of water to treat heat cramps. This water will help cool the body down enough to let the cramps subside.
of course it helps, you even forgert your name if you drink enough.
Cramps usually occur from overexertion and dehydration. Home remedies that would help one to soothe their calf cramps include the following: apply heat or ice, rub the area with baby oil, and drink plenty of liquids.
A heating pad can be used to help with the leg cramps, not usually causing them. There is lots of information on the internet about leg cramps. A few things to try would be some simple stretching and exercises before bed and drink lots of water.
Cramps can happen at any time. They use to wake me up at night. To help with them use a heating pad, and drink hot tea. Mitol will also help and staying off of caffeine, sugar, and processed foods. Often vitamin B will help.
yes. The cramps do not fully go away, but they are less painful !
Water is best
It means you have cramps. I use to get them VERY bad and here is how you help yourself. My guess is that you also have PMS. Before your period when you begin to ache and hurt start to cut back on sugar ( you may crave it, but it doesn't help you) and junk foods. I would buy Mitol an over the counter pill that helps with cramps and PMS. When the cramps start drink hot tea and put a heating pad on your tummy ( you can get one of the back ache pads they sell now and wear it under your clothing ). Lie down if you can on your side. With these things your cramps will be less. I got on the pill because of the cramps and the PMS and it solved all of my problems. Go see your doctor he can also help you.
Yes, I used it for years. To help with cramps also use a heating pad on your lower back or tummy, drink hot tea, and stay away from sugar and caffeine. If you have PMS along with your cramps the above suggestions will help with that as well. You may have to do what I finally did if your PMS/cramps are bad enough and that is get birth control pills. The birth control took care of all of my problems with a period.
There are many causes for cramps. In some extreme cases a doctor is needed and birth control pills can help. Some things to help with cramps are watching caffeine intake, cutting back on sugar/junk foods/soda, take B6 and B12, drink hot tea when the cramps start, and put a heating pad in the area. There is also over the counter pills like Midol that can help with the pain. Watching your diet and getting excerise will also help.
Cramps are a result of a lack of minerals in your diet. Personally I would suggest eating foods that are rich in calcium and magnesium, as the lack of these nutrients causes cramps. If this does not help then start taking calcium and magnesium tablets to further increase your supply. Another good idea would be to increase the amount of water you drink on a daily basis, as you are quite active partial dehydration could also be a cause. To deal with cramps quickly and on the spot, stretch through the pain or apply heating if possible.
Yes, chocolate does cure cramps, head aches, migraines, and hang overs.
