A hybrid car is a car that runs on battery and gas. It uses standard unleaded regular gas.
Automotive shocks and struts are charged with Nitrogen gas. Automotive air condition systems are charged with r134a refrigerant gas.
The check engine light only comes on if there's a problem with suction (i.e. you filled the gas tank with the car running or left the gas cap open and drove. You can't reset it, you have to unhook the battery. If it comes on again, unhook the battery again. If it comes on a 3rd time, I'd see the dealer.
