My 95 town car runs great on regular...in fact, often my friends don't believe the gas mileage I get out of such a big car...usually around 18-19 when driving half around town and half on highway, and I regularly get 25+ (once 28 on a tank) if doing 70 on level highways, cruise control and A/C on, windows shut.
My old Suzuki Samurai never got mileage like that...and my wife's 6 cylinder Explorer is lucky to get 15-16.
Unleaded fuel only , octane 87 or higher ( according to the 1997 Lincoln Town Car Owner Guide )
A hybrid car is a car that runs on battery and gas. It uses standard unleaded regular gas.
I have always run regular gas in my 1995 Lincoln town car. 110,000 miles, still going strong.
You would have to use propane. If it were possible to use natural gas (methane), the car would have to be re-calibrated to use it.
i use unleaded. i have the same car.
Unleaded regular.
A 1995 Lincoln Town Car came from the factory with ( 5W-30 )
That car is designed to use the regular leaded gasoline not the premium gas.
You can use any kind of antifreeze as long as it is a 50/50 mixture. Name brands are probably better to use.
A 1999 Lincoln Town Car would do well with a 50-50 mix of antifreeze (any name brand) and purified water.
I have the same car and I recently discovered Premium Unleaded gas is what I am supposed to use. It says it on the inside of the flap where you put the gas in.
10w 40 or 10w 50 this is for the southern part of the country
