America's government during the revolutionary war was the First and Second Continnental Congress. Which was basically a committee of citizens including Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Adams, and John Adams.
Really...really??!! Even people who don't live in America know that America established a democracy during and after the Revolution. Now it has become more of a democratic republic in the sense that the people (private citizens) have more control over the government.
